Communication is difficult – especially when it comes to BDSM. For most people it’s hard enough exploring their own kinks and interests, let alone sharing those with a partner.
There are, however, tools you can use to make the whole process easier.
BDSM checklists are great for exploring your personal likes and dislikes, and they can function as a guide for negotiation, too. They’re a way to explore systematically, and share holistically.
Checklists can make you feel less lost, and help you discover things you never thought you’d love.
Here are the two lists I’ve developed over the course of more than a decade:
The Short List |
---|
A one-page checklist which covers all of the most important things you should discuss before starting a scene. Use it to guide your negotiation, and ensure that there are no unpleasant surprises during a scene. |
The Long List |
---|
An extensive checklist of kinky acts and activities. Use it to explore wants and needs with a new partner, expand your own kinky repertoire, or to chart your journey into BDSM. |
You can download both of these via Gumroad (totally free, although you’ll have the option to donate if you want to).
What You Get
This bundle includes both lists as open MS Word documents, meaning you can chop, change, add and edit until you have the perfect checklist for you.
The LONG LIST has two versions – one with a brief explanation for each entry and one without. No looking up definitions for obscure acts!
Both lists are formatted ready to be printed onto A4 paper, but can also be filled in and exchanged digitally with ease.
What People Say
“I really can’t thank you enough for putting together something so thorough and clear. The fact that you include explanations for each item makes these perfect for new clients and partners… and there’s even a few things in there I’d never heard of.”
– Mx Evelyn B
“Just reading through the big list was a truly mind-expanding experience. I think I’ve discovered at least two new kinks just from that!”
– Arfur Red
